Gourmet French Toast

This gal has loads of good looking recipes. I thought I would like to try this one and didn't want to loose her recipe. This is the recipe for her Gourmet French Toast. It's one of those recipes where you prepare the night before and then bake the next morning. Love it!
She even shows how she made her berry sauce. Yummy....!

While you are there at her blog, read about how her finance proposed to her on Barkerella's blog! It made me tear up :o)

Halloween Orbs!

This gal here has a fantastic tutorial on how to make these adorable Halloween orbs. I've seen these before, but never thought about how I could make them myself....some gals are just too clever for their own good!

I really like them in the apothecary jar.

To Do with Baby Pictures

Chris shared this on her blog. This is such a caauuuute idea! My daughter takes these fabulous photos of her darling little girl (my little granddaughter of course!) and they would be so cute done up this way. They are printed on 12x12 pages. Check out her blog and email her about them. Chris isso wonderful at answering questions and helping!

Sunday Snack Bar

I love this idea for taking snacks to church or shopping in order to help keep kids occupied. This mother posted about it here. Isn't she smart?! I love the name she gave it "Sunday Snack Bar"!

Here is what she said -
Buy a craft container from walmart/joanns, etc ($1-3). You can also buy small plastic fishing tackle boxes from your local hardware store.
Fill each empty space with small finger foods for your child (age appropriate of course)

-Chocolate Chips
-Little Fishy Crackers
-Mini Marshmallows
-Raisins
-Fruit Snacks
-All kinds of cereal (cheerios, kix, lucky charms,)
-Peanuts
-Craisins
-Small Crackers

*This really helps my two year old quiet down in church. He loves the variety of snacks to choose from. Life saver...seriously!

*My container is actually "Child proof" so he can't get into it all by himself. It's also nice because it won't spill in his diaper bag. You just need to push in the button on the side while opening the container.

Family Rules

While catching up on my blogs, I found these 2 great ideas for family rules boards. My family is grown and gone, but perhaps you can use the ideas. Actually, I may make up a board with grandma house rules for when the family visits.....1. hug grandma 2. make cookies with grandma...you get the jest :o)

This clever gal shares how she made this one here.

Gal number 2 is super duper talented. Look at her post here!

Why couldn't I have just a teeny bit of some of these gals natural talent?
