Sunday Snack Bar

I love this idea for taking snacks to church or shopping in order to help keep kids occupied. This mother posted about it here. Isn't she smart?! I love the name she gave it "Sunday Snack Bar"!

Here is what she said -
Buy a craft container from walmart/joanns, etc ($1-3). You can also buy small plastic fishing tackle boxes from your local hardware store.
Fill each empty space with small finger foods for your child (age appropriate of course)

-Chocolate Chips
-Little Fishy Crackers
-Mini Marshmallows
-Raisins
-Fruit Snacks
-All kinds of cereal (cheerios, kix, lucky charms,)
-Peanuts
-Craisins
-Small Crackers

*This really helps my two year old quiet down in church. He loves the variety of snacks to choose from. Life saver...seriously!

*My container is actually "Child proof" so he can't get into it all by himself. It's also nice because it won't spill in his diaper bag. You just need to push in the button on the side while opening the container.

Family Rules

While catching up on my blogs, I found these 2 great ideas for family rules boards. My family is grown and gone, but perhaps you can use the ideas. Actually, I may make up a board with grandma house rules for when the family visits.....1. hug grandma 2. make cookies with grandma...you get the jest :o)

This clever gal shares how she made this one here.

Gal number 2 is super duper talented. Look at her post here!

Why couldn't I have just a teeny bit of some of these gals natural talent?

Marshmallow Witches

These are cute and what kid would love to get their little hands on one? Taste of Home has the recipe here!

A Very Merry UnBirthday

You have GOT to see this blog!! This is WAY too cute of an idea for a birthday party! What a clever girl this mother is and what lucky little girl the daughter is!
